We offer floating docks, fixed piers, and combination fixed pier, ramp and float, with options that will produce the perfect dock for your needs. Our designs are driven by structural integrity, durability, utilization, appearance, and cost effectiveness.
The structural framing of our lake docks is pressure-treated wood, either ACQ or ACZQ, or Port Orford Cedar. Hardware is heavy duty galvanized steel and stainless steel. Decking can be a choice of composites, fiberglass grating or cedar, per the customer’s preference.
Fixed docks are mounted on piling, which we will drive for you. Historically, lake piling have been wooden, treated with creosote, when it was legal. Currently, the majority of our lake dock piling are galvanized steel, ranging from 2-inch to 8-inch diameter, depending on the conditions. We also continue to offer pressure-treated wood piling, if preferred.
Floatation for floating lake docks is now almost exclusively provided with foam-filled polyethylene tubs, which are bolted to the dock frame. Ramps are either built of pressure-treated wood, fabricated aluminum.
